The Port of Seattle is one of the most diverse ports in the U.S., operating SeaTac Airport and a wide range of maritime activities bringing trade, transportation and tourism to the region and generating nearly 200,000 jobs across the state. Seattle's Seaport is made up of 1,543 acres of cargo terminals, fishing and cruise facilities, moorage, commercial real estate and shoreline access. The port is an environmental steward actively engaged in Duwamish area cleanup and restoration efforts.

A critical element of economic development is strong community partnerships. The Port of Seattle works with a broad range of public and private agencies to coordinate economic development strategies and ensure continued growth and vitality in the region.
